By downloading, installing, or using the Maat Journal app or website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. We may update these Terms from time to time and will post changes here.

You own your journal entries and recordings. We only process them to provide app functionality (encryption, transcription, synchronization). We cannot access your encrypted entries.

Maat Journal is provided “as is.” We do not make medical claims. The app is a tool for personal journaling and reflection, not a substitute for professional advice. AI-generated insights may not always be accurate.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid to use the app (if any).

8. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming, USA. If you live in the EU/EEA or UK, you may also have rights under local consumer protection laws.
